California road trip
I just got back from a road trip in California doing research for an upcoming book. Stopped in Salinas to visit my friend John Steinbeck. It’s always good to see him.

Mystery Authors’ Panel
This past week. I took part in a mystery authors’ panel discussion at the Ames Free Library in North Easton, MA. It was a lot of fun. I enjoyed having the opportunity to spend time with fellow mystery authors Debi Graham-Leard and Ray Anderson, as well as to meet some very nice local mystery fans. It’s always nice to connect with people.
Murderous Plans
In the past few weeks, two separate men, both of them radio talk show hosts, have asked me to kill them in a book. Odd coincidence, interesting challenge. I’ve figured out where and when to kill Tom Foie, but not how. I’m not yet sure how I’ll do in Jordan Rich.
Deep Secrets – Review
A recent review of Deep Secrets has this to say:
Amy Lynch, is at it again. In this third mystery by P. K. Norton featuring the intrepid and sharply inquisitive insurance investigator, Norton has done it again–spot that “something odd, something out of place”, and with a combination of intellect and intuition start to expose and finally, in a classic “running out of pages” resolution and denouement, resolve the deepening mystery.
But it’s more than just a great puzzle and engaging characters that makes Norton’s mysteries so much fun. There’s the out-of-the-blue lightening bolts of humor, and with each new novel a deepening exposure of the “regular” relationships in Amy Lynch’s life, from friends and family to professional associates to canine confidants.
If you’re new to Norton’s Amy Lynch mysteries, just dive in. If you’ve enjoyed her first two books, well…enjoy your swim.

Deep Secrets in Woods Hole
My niece, her daughters and I spent a fun Sunday in Woods Hole visiting places where Amy Lynch went in Deep Secrets. Had a lovely lunch at the Captain Kidd. Best bar anywhere.

A round of applause
The day my article was featured in the local newspaper, I went to the 7-11 to buy several copies. A group of men having their morning coffee looked at me and asked if I was indeed the Woman of Mystery on the front page. When I said yes, I was greeted with a round of applause. Fun!
I’m a woman of mystery
A recent article about me in the Brockton Enterprise referred to me as a woman of mystery. Here is the link to the article.
